This module shows a list of web site statistics, including which operating system you’re working on, which versions of PHP and MySQL you’re using, your server time, and whether caching is enabled or disabled (see Figure 8-33).
To use this module, open the Module Manager page, and from the Administrator module type list, select the module with title Site Information of the module type Statistics. The module will open in edit mode, as shown in Figure 8-34.
Set the value of the Server Information field to Yes to show server information. Set the Site Information field to Yes to show site information. Set the value of Hit Counter to Yes to show hit counter information.
In the Increase Counter field, enter a number to be added to the actual number of hits. The Increase Counter field is usually used when you want the hit counter to begin from a value other than the default of 0. From the Position drop-down list, choose toolbar to display the result at the top of the administrator interface.
After entering the information, click the Save & Close button to save the module.
Being the Administrator module, the moment you save the module, the result of the module (i.e., information about the server and other site information) will appear on the back end at the top of the administrator interface (refer to Figure 8-33).
