Since, we are going to develop XML-RPC application using Java, we must know which XML- RPC types map to which Java types. Apache XML-RPC also provides some extended data types, which may be used if required. However, both client and server must then use Apache XML-RPC. A summary of all these mappings is provided in Table 17.2:
